The Community Forum discusses Verwood's response to Dorset Council's Local Plan Consultation
Verwood’s Dorset Councillors Coombs, Flower and Gibson along with Verwood Branch Chair, and Chartered Town Planner, Carol Traves hosted two Community Forums for Verwood residents to discuss the Dorset Council Local Plan and the possible impact on Verwood and surrounding areas.
The events were a huge success with close to 600 people having attend. It is clear that Verwoodians care deeply about our town with many having significant concerns about the proposals, especially those for Crane Valley Golf Club.
Your Verwood Councillors are determined to ensure that Dorset Council understands the concerns and aspirations of residents of Verwood. They will do all that they can to make residents aware of these proposals and how they can make the most of their opportunity to take part in this important consultation.
