Blandford Camp

SAVE BLANDFORD CAMP

 

North Dorset MP, Bob Walter, has launched a campaign to Save Blandford Camp - which is currently the subject of a public-private bidding process that could see training facilities moved to either Cosford in Shropshire or St Athan in Wales.

 

Bob Walter said "Blandford Camp employs over 1,000 people and is worth some £280 million to the local economy.  I'm fighting for local jobs.

 

"There has been millions of pounds of investment in state of the art facilities at Blandford.  To move the college away now would be a massive waste of taxpayers money - as well as devastating for the economy of North Dorset".
